St. Flannan's

2HQ were initially instructed by the insurer of St Flannan’s College to investigate and report on roof leaks and associated damage to this historic Protected Structure.

Subsequent services provided included project management, works specification; tendering & procurement; contract administration; PSDP; and site monitoring of a substantial remedial works project. The works included repairs to all of the chimney stacks to the building; slating works; fire safety works and repairs to a subsided area of ground floor slab.

The area of floor slab that had subsided is finished in original floor tiles, which are of historic significance. The floor was repaired by injecting resin under the floor under pressure, to fill voids and to stabilise the sub-soil. The works were successfully completed in 2020, with the floor tiles being retained undamaged.
