2HQ provided civil, structural and traffic services for this recently completed residential development. The development comprised of a 5 storey apartment block on piled foundations and a 4 storey house, on this confined site located next to the Irish Rail Southwest Commuter rail line in Kilmainham, Dublin 8.
The site is located directly beside the Southwest Commuter rail track. In advance of making a planning application, we engaged with Irish Rail and agreed technical details for issues such as the preservation of the retaining structure beside the tracks, monitoring of Irish Rail lands during the works and foundations for the new building.
